According to Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS), there is always a high shortage of blood which can’t meet the needs of hospitals and patients. To help reduce this scarcity and in a bid to save lives, Steel & Tube in partnership with UBTS frequently holds Blood Drives at the factory, Head office and Nakawa market.

The 1st phase of our factory in Namanve was officially commissioned by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of Uganda on 1st November 2018. This occasion was graced by over 20 delegates, 300 distinguished guests and company staff.
